In their third release, Project 27 again bring solid well written tunes forged from the style of Screeching Weasel and The Ramones to produce a fresh take on Pop Punk. The Next September 7′ is worth it for the title track alone – a modern update to classic Pop Punk Rock. 300 Pressed 150 Pink, 150 White.

Who:
Pop-punk quintet hailing from Long Island, New York that mixes the best parts of both the new and old styles of pop-punk.
How Is It?
Project 27’s Next September EP is a genuinely enjoyable pop-punk record. The songs are both succinct (the longest track just surpasses the two-minute mark) and infectious, creating a combination that will keep fans of older pop-punk coming back for more. Once you start spinning these well-crafted pop-punk tunes, it will only be a matter of time before you will find yourself singing along. For those of you who need extra convincing, this band also comes with pop-punk icon Ben Weasel’s stamp of approval (check out his October 18th entry on BenWeasel.com).
